L-Methylfolate as Adjunctive Therapy for SSRI-Resistant Major Depression

In two clinical trials, patients who didn’t respond well to antidepressants (SSRIs) showed significant improvements in depressive symptoms when L-Methylfolate was added to their treatment. This study is a gold-standard human trial demonstrating that L-Methylfolate can meaningfully support brain health and mood, particularly when standard approaches alone are insufficient.
